Massage at Advaya is best described as “deep tissue,” but it need not be deep. Deep tissue massage is a style of massage that addresses specific muscle groups at the depth appropriate for each individual.  It is a personalized massage used to relieve chronic tightness, stress and tension.  Injury and clinical treatments are an area of  special interest.

Heated basalt stones are strategically placed on the body to melt tensions away and balance energies.  Desert sage oil is used with these smooth black stones for a deeply therapeutic experience.

Aromatherapy is offered with each body treatment, and can be customized for the therapeutic effects  desired at the moment.

 

    Uplifting:                      orange, bergamot, sage, geranium, lavender

    Calming:                       lavender, frankincense, chamomile.

    Stress relieving:        bergamot, sage, geranium, grapefruit, lavender

    Energizing:                  eucalyptus, pine, peppermint, rosemary
